Head Start Business

At Head Start we recognise that in many business organisations would like all their staff to have some awareness of finance and how business decisions impact on the financial performance of their organisation. We also recognise that many workplace environments now involve remote or online working.

With this in mind we have developed a "Finance for Non Financial Staff" online course. This course covers the basics of Financial Accounting, how financial statements are comprised and how to interpret financial statements. We also cover an introduction to management accounting, budgeting and costing.

On completion of the course students should have a good understanding of how organisations measure their performance, how they make pricing decisions and how the decision of all departments in an organisation can impact on the financial performance of the organisation.

We also offer organisations the option to customise our standard course to meet their specific needs.
